Arrive in Penticton. Join HooDoo Adventures for a snowshoeing trip around the valley. The trip concludes with a three-course, chef-prepared meal next to a campfire.

Overnight in Penticton.


Depart Penticton for Kelowna and enjoy the one-hour scenic drive through the Okanagan Valley. Join Monashee Adventure Tours for a guided snowshoeing trip along the Myra Canyon Trestles. Plan your lunch in Kelowna before departing for your two-hour drive to Kamloops along Highway #97 and check into your accommodation. You will be picked up by ACT Adventures for a snowshoe tour and campfire dinner at Greenstone Mountain or Mount Lolo, located above the city. From there, guests will grab their snowshoes and venture into the woods for a 360-degree view of Kamloops’ terrain. Guests will return to their accommodation later that evening.

Depart Kamloops for a 45-minute drive to Sun Peaks, the second largest ski resort by area in Canada. Sun Peaks has a large variety of winter activities apart from skiing and snowboarding. Some of the most popular activities include ice skating, dog-sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, Segways and guided ice-fishing. The guided ice-fishing experience features transfers, all gear, a heated tent, and an outfitter guide. These activities can be booked at Sun Peaks Resort’s Adventure Centre. Sun Peaks has a wide selection of accommodations and also features a variety of restaurants with international cuisine options.

Depart Sun Peaks for a one hour and thirty minute drive to Wells Gray Provincial Park. At the turnoff to Helmcken Falls, Clearwater Lake Tours will meet the guests and take them to their cabins to begin exploring Wells Gray Provincial Park. Clearwater Lake Tours provide unique tours deep into the wilderness. After the arrival by snow taxi, guests can check into their cabin and enjoy a snowshoe or cross-country trail experience before dinner is served in the main cabin.

Exploring the wilderness in Wells Gray Provincial Park



Full day of adventures in Wells Gray Provincial Park. Activities include snowshoeing, cross country skiing, canoeing (subject to weather conditions), and wildlife viewing. Winter is prime time for moose and other wildlife viewing in this area, and following animal tracks is a popular pastime.

Overnight at Clearwater Lake Cabins.


Travel by snow taxi along Clearwater Valley Road and stop at Helmcken Falls turnoff. From here, travel by vehicle to see Helmcken Falls, Dawson Falls, and Spahats Falls. Each of the falls has a unique feature during winter conditions. Afterwards, depart Clearwater and drive back to Kamloops to conclude the trip.

Optional: Continue your drive from Kamloops to Kelowna or Penticton to conclude your trip.
