North Okanagan is home to flourishing wilderness roaming with wildlife. Historic towns eager to preserve their rich heritage are tempting and friendly for those who wish to explore. Most of all, this region is renowned for its diverse array of activities.

The North Okanagan is bordered by the Shuswap and Central Okanagan regions. Route 97 runs through the region and Vernon, the major centre in the region is located on the Highway 6 intersection. Sporting activities abound in the hills nearby where you can hike, rock climb, and mountain bike. There are many challenging golf courses found in the North Okanagan.

Roam through the farms and fruit orchards in the spring through fall; the North Okanagan is the perfect place for a scenic canoe trip or to drop by a winery. The region features proximity to two of BC’s most beautiful lakes: Kalamalka and Okanagan, with sandy beaches and miles of fresh, emerald green water for every kind of water sport. Shining brightly above Vernon, at over 800 vertical metres, is Silver Star Mountain Resort.
